Western Valley in-motion Achievement Games:  On Monday, June 3rd from 9am-3pm adults with intellectual and physical challenges are invited to this event. The day will be full of lots of activities, face painting, photo booth and a dance.  It’s a great chance to be active and meet new friends. Lunch is included.  This event is free. Meduxnekeag River Run: Saturday, June 8thA trip down the beautiful Meduxnekeag River, Family Challenge starts at 10am and the Adult Poker Run starts at 1pm. Food and Music along the river and prizes for each category. Shuttle service available. Please contact the AYR Motor Centre for more information and to register!

Rock Star Dance Party:  Friday the 14th, 5:30-7:30 pm at the AYR Motor Centre, downstairs in Studio 2.  This event is for those intellectually & physically challenged adults. DJ John Allen entertaining; Refreshments will be provided. This is a FREE event!

School’s Out For Summer Beach Party & Dance:  We want to celebrate the end of the school year with students in Grades 6 to 9 on Wednesday, June 19th, 3:30-5pm Admission: $3 includes snacks and mocktails! Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel. Location: AYR Motor Centre Gallery and Aquatic Facility.

Babysitting Course: For youth ages 11 years and up. Learn how to make a child’s environment safe and fun.  Cost: $45. Must register in advance.  Monday, June 24 9am-5pm.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES:

Outdoor Adventure – Tomlinson Lake Hike to Freedom ‘Spring Tour’:  On Saturday, June 1st, 9am To celebrate Parks and Trails day come join us for a guided hike along North America’s notherenmost route of the Underground Railroad, the passageway that lead many enslaved persons to freedom in Canada. Leaving the AMC to travel to the location in Carlingford at 9am, and guided tour from 10 am-2pm. Cost: $25. Includes transportation, guided tour and traditional meal. Spots are limited…. Youth Outdoor Adventure – A Morning on the Farm @ Blue Moon AcresFor youth ages 5-8. Wednesday, June 26th, 8:00am–5:00pm. Only 15 spots available! We’ll travel to Blue Moon Acers Farm located in Debec where we’ll have a guided tour and have the chance to meet the baby goats, calves, baby ducks, chicks, as well as many other adult animals. Following our return from the activity, there will be swimming and field house activities. Participants can be picked up a the AYR Motor Centre at 5:00. Items to Bring: Appropriate footwear, water, bug spray, sunscreen, hat, swimsuit, lunch. Cost: $35. Must register in advance. Payment must be made at the time of registration.
