The Carleton Civic Centre was opened in 1995 with the partnership of the Town of Woodstock and the Woodstock Rotary Club. The 32,092 sq. foot complex has been the centre of recreational activities in the River Valley offering a 846-seat multi purpose 190 x 90 foot ice surface, a five lane 25 meter pool, a fitness centre and a number of multi-purpose rooms and offices. The Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame is located in the Carleton Civic Centre.
The Carleton Civic Centre is home to the Woodstock Slammers Junior A Hockey Team, Woodstock Minor Hockey, Woodstock Skating Club, Western Valley Stingrays Swim Team and Triple C Synchro Swimming.
