September 20, 2021 Full Vaccination Disclosure Update

The AYR Motor Centre asks for your patience and understanding as we transition through the new Provincial regulations.

All patrons are asked to enter through the main lobby entrance for each visit. All other doors will be unavailable.

Patrons 12 & older must bring their double vaccination record, along with a government issued ID; Medicare, Driver License or Birth Certificate.

Children ages 0-11 will continue to have access to the AYR Motor Centre.

If any changes occur patrons will be notified.

If your child is 11 and turning 12 what does this mean?

We have reached out to the province for guidance. At this time, the documentation states double vaccination is required prior to gaining access. We will update when more information becomes available.

Once a patron has disclosed vaccination, they will no longer be required to re-submit their vacation record. But may require ID.

***NEW***

Masks will be mandatory in all indoor public spaces, including:

The AYR Motor Centre will require Face Masks to be worn in all public areas effective, Monday, August 31, 2020.

 These areas include:

Lobby areas: hallways, washrooms and stairwells

Canteen service area and Carter Asbell Memorial Viewing Area

Pool: hallway, locker rooms, deck area and mezzanine

Arena: Ice surface perimeter, spectator seating and dressing rooms

Fieldhouse: mask must be worn up until the point you enter your rental space

Rooms: mask must be worn up until the point you enter your rental space

Should children wear masks?

Until a child is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, they should continue to wear a face mask and keep a safe physical distance indoors around people they don't live with or who may have the virus. Anyone unvaccinated should also wear face masks outdoors in large group settings or when physical distancing isn't possible.

Face masks can be safely worn by all children 2 years of age and older, including most children with special health conditions, with rare exception.

Children should not wear a mask if they are under 2 years old, however, because of suffocation risk. Also, anyone unconscious or unable to remove a face covering on their own should not wear one.
