May 25, 2020
What is the Municipal Plan?
The Municipal Plan provides policies to guide future land use and
development within the Town of Woodstock and guidance to Town Council to assist
in long term planning decisions. The Municipal Plan provides for the
implementation of land use regulation within the Town of Woodstock through the
Zoning, Subdivision, and Building By-Laws.

What is the Public
Hearing?
In order to enact the New Municipal Plan the Community Planning Act says
that the Municipality must hold a Public Hearing in order for the public to
have input. This is the final phase of the process before the new plan is
adopted.
The public hearing will take place on Monday, May 25, 2020 in the Town Hall
at 7:00 p.m. Due to the State of Emergency, where a group of more than 10
people is not allowed to gather, the Public Hearing will be live streamed via
YouTube to the public. Please visit the town website for a
link to the YouTube channel.
Procedure for
Feedback:
Please contact the undersigned before Thursday, May 21, 2020 with
written comments / questions for Town Council or if you want to speak to the
Municipal Plan at the hearing your name can be added to the list and you will
